Harold H. Mitchell, Jr.
Harold practices primarily in the area of bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, estate planning, and eminent domain. He routinely represents banks an other lenders in bankruptcy proceedings in the states of Mississippi and Arkansas, and has significant experience representing both debtors and creditors in reorganizations. Harold represents Chapter 7 Trustees in preference, fraudulent transfer, and lien priority and validity litigation. He serves as attorney for the drainage districts of Washington County, Mississippi. In addition, Harold regularly provides estate planning and probate services to the firm’s clients. His experience in eminent domain includes litigation in the expansion of the Tunica Airport serving gaming interests in northwest Mississippi, and in takings involving the Toyota plant mega site in Blue Springs, Mississippi.
