Brittany earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law in May 2015. Brittany then served as a term law clerk to Magistrate Judge Jane M. Virden in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi for two years.

She joined Campbell DeLong, LLP, in Greenville as an associate in January 2018. Brittany’s practice consists of general litigation, estate planning, and various real estate matters, including title examination and representation of buyers and sellers in land transactions. She is a member of the Washington County Bar Association and represents the Delta as a Director for the Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar.

While in law school, Brittany served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Mississippi College Law Review and the Internal Competition Problem Editor for the Moot Court Board. She was also elected to the Order of the Scribes for excellence in legal writing, was selected as a Hearin Fellow, and was named a Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association Scholar. Brittany also received Outstanding Student Awards for the highest scoring grade in several courses, including: Agricultural Law, Civil Procedure II, ESI & E-Discovery, Legal Research I and II, Legal Writing I and II, Property, and Torts I and II. Brittany also completed several externships while at MC Law, including serving as a guardian ad litem and externing with Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Ann H. Lamar. In her free time, she served as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant and volunteered at Mission First Legal Aid Clinic.

Brittany recently published an article in the Mississippi College Law Review entitled, “I’m Sorry Mississippi: An Argument for Enactment of a Physician Apology Statute by the Mississippi Legislature.” 37 Miss. C. L. Rev. 191. Brittany is licensed to appear in all districts of Mississippi, the Mississippi Supreme Court, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Brittany and her husband, Martin, have two children, John Martin and Lula. They are members of Leland Presbyterian Church, where Brittany serves as an Elder and the Moderator of Presbyterian Women. Brittany is also actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Junior Garden Club of Greenville, Delta Children’s Museum, and also serves as the Vice President of Junior Auxiliary of Greenville and as the Women’s Chair of Washington County Farm Bureau, where she helps promote agriculture in local classrooms. Brittany is a diehard Mississippi State fan, and she and her family enjoy traveling to watch the Bulldogs play.
